Training on cardio-MRI took place in EMC

European Medical Center with the support of the head of Radiology School held practical training on cardiac-MRI for applicators and physicians. The speaker was Rud Sergey, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Radiology, Military Medical Academy (St. Petersburg).

First day of school was held in the training center of Siemens on MR-systems, and second, it was decided to carry out in EMC, since there is MR system with advanced cardio-package, which is ideal for such studies.

The studies were conducted on volunteers and the patients referred to the clinic collaborating cardiologists. The participants had the opportunity to conduct a study under the supervision of a teacher. Also colleagues discussed MRI-algorithms while imaging under such conditions as low heart rate, different variants of rhythm disorders, etc.
