Seminar «CT and MRI of the knee»

On the 1^st and 2^nd of June in EMC was held a seminar «CT and MRI of the knee» by EMC Medical School.

The Head of Radiology School Irina Trofimenko began the seminar with the introduction of their colleagues and talking about plans on these two days.

The first speaker was surgeon, traumatologist  EMC doctor Maysigov, who told about knee injuries. The listeners were very interested in his report about  the modern classification of the  fractures AO/ASIF.

Radiologist EMC Irina Murashina told about anatomy of the knee joint. Radiologist EMC Sinitskii M.A. spoke about protocols of examination the knee joint. The first day of this seminar was ended with the lecture «MRI in the diagnostics of traumatic changes of the knee joint». Radiologist of Central Clinical Hospital of Russian Academy of Sciences Uchevatkin A.A. presented this report.

At the end of the day all the participants discussed different difficult cases.

On the next day there were also lectures by surgeon, traumatologist  Ilyin, who told about operative treatment of knee injuries.

Irina Trofimenko and Michael Sinitskii held two lectures, and then there was a practical part by traumatologist Sergey Aksenov. At the end of the seminar everybody got certificates.
