«Key Directions in Modern Embryology»

For everyone the most important thing is the family.  What people should do, if they can`t conceive a child? On the 30^th of May the best embryologists answered this question on the seminar «Key Directions in Modern Embryology» in EMC.

The first speaker was Dr Yona Barak, who is the head of Laboratories LTD (Tel Aviv, Israel). She told about IMSI and basics of cryobiology. She also took part in discussion and tried to understand Russian colleagues in order to exchange experience with them.

The head of Embriology branch of the Gynecology School Evgeny Yutkin told about methods of freezing unit sperm and the history of cryopreservation.  All the listeners were very interested in this report and his professional experience.

The main researcher of MSU department of biology Roman Shafei told about chemistry and biochemistry of culture medium. Also the listeners could find new information about three categories of culture medium.

The head of laboratory «Genetico»  doctor Pomerantseva and the head of laboratory «Mother and son» doctor Khil'kevich spoke about different methods of  preimplantation genetic diagnostics.

All the participants were satisfied with this seminar and tried to communicate with each other in order to get more professional experience.
