Instructor in family and intimate relations of patients and their families during the post-operative period.

She graduated from Beruni Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. She underwent training in the medical college based at the Jewish Jerusalem University in the retraining program for people with higher education (bachelor's degree awarded).

She worked as a senior nurse of the surgical department at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. She participated in research on the topic "Hospital infections in surgical care" for the Ministry of Health in Israel. She was head of a research on the topic "Quality of life in patients with stoma and their families" (Jerusalem Hadassah Medical Center).

Svetlana Baravik specializes in preparing long-term plans for the surgery department for any length of time, organization of daily work and activities to raise the professional level of nursing staff.

Her sphere of practical interests include the development and implementation of job descriptions for nursing staff to comply with the rules of working with post-operative patients, preparing and conducting evaluation of new employees and annual re-evaluations as well as business planning of the department.

She is the author of brochures "Instruction and preparation of patients and their family members for admission to the surgical department", "Instructing the patient and his family about discharge and during rehabilitation".
