The first Russian surgeon to complete the full educational program of the Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF), USA. For several years he had trained in plastic reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery in the US and Western Europe. Worked with the best plastic surgery specialists from Vermont, Virginia, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Chairman of the board of the Northwest Nonprofit Partnership of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Full member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM). Associate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Professor Pshenisnov is the Editor-in-Chief of the Selected Issues of Plastic Surgery Journal and a member of editorial boards of the following journals: Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology, Russian Rhinology and Issues of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, and the editorial board of the international journal, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Participates in the council of foreign observers of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal (USA).

He is the author of over 270 scientific works, including two monographs. 30 of his works have been published in English in the leading international journals on plastic surgery of the USA and Western Europe. Dr. Pshenisnov has 4 inventor’s certificates for inventing new methods of surgical operations; he holds three patents to new medical instruments.

Laureate of the Leninsky Komsomol award. Received multiple awards in international competitions of science researches; diplomas and medals of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Higher Education.
