Workshop "CT and MRI of the shoulder joint"

The first day will be devoted to a detailed review of the anatomy of the shoulder joint to the consideration of anatomical variants. We will discuss clinical aspects of the differential diagnosis of pain in the shoulder joint, damage shoulder rotators, biceps.

During workshops on the MR system, we will discuss MR signs of the shoulder joint’s damage, the main artifacts on MRI images.

On the second day, we’ll focus on the instability of the shoulder joint, its degenerative changes and characteristics of postoperative imaging. Special attention will be devoted to the analysis of the main mistakes made in the interpretation of MR tomograms of the shoulder joint.

The second half of each day will be devoted to the analysis of clinical cases in the format of multidisciplinary discussions with radiologists and traumatologists. We will discuss the role of MRI in treatment planning in patients with damage to the shoulder joint.

The seminar may be interesting for both beginners and professionals, constantly working with studies of the shoulder joint.
